Key Points for Success:
- Read the “Notes on Preparation” section at the front of the template to understand how to find the content information required to fill out sections I and II of the plan.
- When stating goals and objectives in sections III and IV it is paramount that your team use measureable (number-based) goals. Example: “to maintain an average unit sales growth of 10% per year” or to “grow market share for the family car class from 25% to 35% in 5 years.”
- For sales forecasting purposes, download a copy of the provided spreadsheet template. An example forecasting sheet is attached as well.
