Critical thinking: This course is designed to help students become critical consumers of information by developing the ability to think clearly and critically and to apply logical reasoning to evaluate information. Students focus on the foundations of arguments, assumptions, inductive and deductive reasoning as well as other types of reasoning, and recognition of manipulative techniques used in various forms of communication.
